Deep in the wilderness, just north of the lvl-50 obelisk platform, a gravestone emerges from the charred, forsaken earth…
Place your palm against this ancient relic, and you will descend into a dungeon overrun by evil and death.
At the center of this dungeon (non-wildy), after passing NPCs from weak to stronger, lies the Reaper, a devastating foe who brings death to bold adventurers foolish enough to seek his treasures. Those who enter into his chamber will be met with alternating godspell blasts, powerful melee strikes, and Reaper’s loyal Hellhounds who restore his health if they are not smitten down quickly.
The Reaper is normally killed with a team of players of 3+ although it is possible with less. The reaper spawns’ hellhounds for each player that attacks him. The hellhounds if left alive will heal the reaper. The method normally used by teams is for each player to range the reaper once which spawns a hellhound, each player will then kill a hellhound. Once all the hellhounds are dead it is then safe to kill the reaper. Each player who does more then 20% of damage get’s a unique drop from the table below.
If there is a large group of player’s, it may be a good idea to leave a few hellhounds in order for all players to do 20% damage. The most popular way to kill the reaper is using ranged but it is also possible to mage or melee him.
Players will try to stay in the safe zone which is outside of the black marking on the floor. If a player steps inside the markings the reaper will launch missile attacks at them often dealing large damage.
It is common for one player to “tank” the reaper which means they will melee attack him close enough to the safe zone so everyone else can range him without the reaper running away. Although the reaper is accessed through wilderness, the lair is not in wildy. It is a good idea to take P2P gear and potions.
